Borovets, originally known as Chamkoria, is the oldest winter resort in Bulgaria, with a history that dates back to 1896. Originally established as hunting grounds for Bulgarian Royalty, Borovets gradually developed into a modern ski resort without losing the beauty and wildlife that charmed rulers and peasants alike.
The Borovets Grand is being built next to the old center of Borovets, just minutes away from the lifts and ski runs. The construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2014.
This spectacular landscaping is set in the pine forest, which surrounds Grand Borovets, sheltering us from the noise and dynamics of the town. This gives our guests the feel of a remote mountain chalet, while retaining the practicality of a downtown hotel (including handicap accessible entrances and facilities).
The advantage of being a property owner in Grand Borovets is that it is located high in the mountain – away from the city noise, where one can benefit from the crystal clean air, unspoiled nature, possibility for sport and entertainment while it has a perfect location - just 60km from Sofia International Airport, 120 km from Plovdiv and 150km from the border with Greece.
Proximity to Sofia (62 km)
Within 60 min reach of Sofia's International Airport and with ample parking, the benefits of being an owner begin long before arriving. With high occupancy rates and the price points such a property commands, they will accrue even when you are not here.
It falls to reason, that at low season will be attractive to Meetings and Conferences especially for Sofia businesses.
